The first-stage interview was a positive experience. I met two of the CEOs who were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at ease. It gave a great first impression of the company culture and values. Cons: Unfortunately, the final stage interview was quite the opposite. The atmosphere was uncomfortable from the beginning — the interviewers weren’t welcoming, and I felt awkward as I was the only one speaking for most of the session. There was minimal engagement, and the body language made the environment feel cold and uninviting. At the end, one of the interviewers didn’t even acknowledge me with a simple “thank you” or “have a good weekend,” although she did say it to her colleague. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. She also appeared in a rush to leave the room, which added to the sense that the interview was more of a formality than a genuine opportunity for engagement. I interviewed on a Friday and was told that they were still seeing candidates, yet I received a rejection the following Monday. It’s hard to believe many interviews took place over the weekend, which made the process feel disingenuous.
