I recently attended an interview at CloudNow Technologies for the Junior Software Developer (Fresher) position.
First Round: The process started with a programming test where 3 problems were given, and candidates were expected to solve at least 2.
Second Round: Shortlisted candidates moved on to the technical interview. The panel was polite and professional, and the technical discussions were fair.
While the overall interview process was conducted smoothly, I noticed something concerning:
Although the role was advertised as a Fresher – Junior Software Developer position, experienced candidates were also allowed to attend and compete for the same role. This raises a question of fairness, since fresh graduates cannot usually compete equally with those having prior work experience.
👉 My suggestion to the company:
If the role is meant for freshers, the interview process should be kept exclusively for them. Mixing experienced and fresher candidates for the same opening can demotivate genuine freshers who are applying for entry-level opportunities.
Overall, I appreciate the professionalism of the interviewers, but I hope the company makes the process clearer and fairer for fresh graduates in the future.
