Recently experienced one of the most disorganized interview processes I’ve seen. Multiple candidates were taking the online voice test together in a single room, followed by long waiting times between interview rounds where the same basic introduction questions were repeated by different interviewers.
If the initial screening was simply an online or voice based test, it could have easily been conducted remotely. Candidates who cleared that stage could then have been called for the in-person interview round instead of making everyone spend hours waiting unnecessarily.
What was even more disappointing was the lack of clarity regarding the stipend and role details, even when asked directly. After spending hours in the process, we received a response after 3 weeks of waiting.
A hiring process reflects a company’s professionalism and respect for candidates’ time. Transparency, organization and communication matter just as much as technical evaluation.
