I went through multiple rounds over the weekend, investing a significant amount of time, and had clearly communicated my salary expectations early on in the process. However, the final offer shared was far below what had been discussed and did not reflect the role or responsibilities communicated during the interviews. This lack of alignment could have been addressed earlier, which would have saved considerable time and effort. Additionally, the overall process felt somewhat unstructured, with decisions involving multiple stakeholders and no clear communication flow. While the interactions were cordial, the experience overall felt inefficient and not fully considerate of the candidate’s time.
