Thorough and comfortable. Every step was explained to me which I really appreciated. It was refreshing how respectful and upfront they were with the whole process and what was expected of me.

It was fine. Nothing too detailed or rigorous. They focus a lot on you being a good culture fit.
Reason for the thumbs down is I went through the whole interview process and never heard from them again. No decision, no feedback, nothing. Completely ghosted. I reached out 3 times after the final round for an update and never received one.

How do you have fun at work? How do you create relationships at work? How do you handle a situation where you might have upset one of your co-workers?

It started off well, and it ended up being one of my worst interview experiences. Things were moving quickly and transparent at first. It all seemed great. But after my final interview there was radio silence. This is disrespectful to candidates, especially ones investing so much time and so far along the interview process. I was completely ghosted after my last interview for 2+ weeks and after multiple emails. And finally got a rejection email after moving on myself. More details below. Looking back there were some signs. Highlighting the entire process: 1. Interview with CEO - simple interview. CEO seemed nice. 2. Case study - after meeting for just a few minutes I was asked to complete case study which consisted of multiple short answer questions (~1 hr of work). Agree with other interviewers here: kind of feels like this is just a way for the team to get free consultative advice/work. Especially so early in the interview process. But I did it anyway. 3. Team interview - team of potential direct reports interviewed me for an hour. Learned a lot, but an hour is a bit much to be bombarded with questions on the spot from three different people with three distinct roles. From my experience interviews like this are typically the last ones and are meant more of a gauge of cultural fit. 4. Executive team interview - this one was weird. Some of the questions asked were not direct and dragged on. It felt like they were intentionally trying to stump me by not being clear with their questions. I would literally summarize in just one sentence to make sure I was understanding correctly. Very little time for me to ask my own questions. When I asked about reservations (which I ask in every interview) there was an awkward silence followed by them saying that their stance is not answering that question at this stage. I disagree. This is the perfect time to answer the question and give the candidate an opportunity to address concerns.
