During the first call itself with HR i had mentioned my expectations in terms of salary and my notice period (2 months). Since this was an interview process during Lockdown, it spanned over 3 weeks of time and 3 rounds of interview. After the third round of interview with Client. HR wanted to hire immediate joiner. I didnt argued with her and just said, during our first conversation itself i had made it clear that i have to serve 2 months of notice period with my current employer.
