The interview process at Codeway was structured and consisted of multiple stages, combining both technical and business-oriented evaluation. The first stage was an HR interview, where my background, motivation, and overall fit for the role were assessed. In the second stage, I was given a case study. This involved analyzing a dataset in BigQuery, calculating key metrics such as conversion rate, ARPU, retention, and revenue, and interpreting the results. The analysis was expected to be presented in a structured way, supported by a dashboard (e.g., Looker). The final stage was an in-depth interview with members of the Data Analytics team (Data Analytics Managers and an Engineering Director), which lasted around two hours. During this stage: * The case study was discussed in detail * My approach to product and business metrics was evaluated * My analytical thinking and problem-solving skills were assessed Overall, the process focused not only on technical skills but also on the ability to connect data insights with business decisions and communicate them clearly.
