A friend applied for a role here, and they asked him if he knew anyone else, as they needed multiple people.
After several confusing emails and phone calls, teams interview was eventually arranged.
At the interview, only one of the two people I'd been told to expect came on the call, the PM of the project. No explanation given for the other person's absence, which is well within their rights I suppose.
Interview was standard, basic stuff. Tell me about yourself, didn't ask 'why have you applied for this role?' So I had to answer that on my own.
I asked a few questions about the project that he answered in the vaguest way that made it look like he didn't really know.
And that was it really. I asked the usual, what happens next after this question, and he assured me I'd hear in a day or two.
I never heard anything back from this company, or the agency who had arranged the interview. My friend who applied before me spoke to them a few days later chasing up his application, so he asked them if my application was processed and completed yet. And they told him that I'd been rejected. They still haven't bothered letting me know,
