There were two interviews during the process. First was a quick phone call to screen potential candidates. Then there was a panel of 4 people over zoom. Had to prepare and facilitate a presentation demo from set examples provided by the company.

1st round was a 30 minute phone screening and the next round was an in-person interview over 2-2.5 hours with the team and then the supervisor. they gave a lot of context about the student demographic and history of the organization. It was clear that they cared deeply about the students. The process in-person was a little uncomfortable. Instead of the 2-3 hour interview, they had decided to condense it to a 1 hour interview and announced it as soon as I arrived. I ended up traveling and paying out of pocket for my visit to their office, and I would have turned down the offer if it had not been made to sound like a longer interview process. Because the interviews were condensed, I did not have 1-1 time with other people in the same role to talk about actually working there, and the supervisor dominated the conversation. They could not tell me the size of the group I'd be advising. Furthermore, they provided no follow-up to indicate that I wasn't going to be moved forward.
