The interview process was fast. I was lead to believe that my starting salary would be a much higher than it really was. The manager didn't even conduct the interview.

There was no interview. They hired me on the spot. That probably should have been my first clue that this place was up to no good. They didn't even do a background check. What if I would have been a thief? Oh yeah...that doesn't matter to them. They hire thieves and convicted felons all the time.
