Pitched myself to the then incumbent, who recommended me to the hiring manager. Had informal interview same day with hiring manager. The following day, met with two additional members of the department in a group interview. A few days later met with five other members of the department in one-on-one, quick 15 minute interviews. Informally offered position a few days later.
