Entrevista
Submitted my resume to a job posting on the Comcast site. Since the job was a perfect match for my skills, I was contacted within 2 weeks for a brief telephone interview with a Treasury Manager mainly to access my ability to come in for a face-to-face interview with her and boss, the Treasury Director.
I arrived for an early morning interview with the Treasury Manager and Treasury Director. The interview with the Treasury Manager involved mainly discussing my experience and skills, which matched the job description exactly. The interview with the Treasury Director was postponed since she did not show up in the office. I rescheduled with her.
The interview with the Treasury Director was basically a redo of the prior interview with the Treasury Manager, but this time there was a vague discussion regarding salary. I assumed I was within the salary range of the position, but I was not told so. I was told they would contact me regarding a decision.
I sent "Thank You" letters to each person and waited, and waited, and waited. After a few weeks, I inquired about any decision and was told they still had not made any decision. I was given no other feedback. I reiterated my interest in the job and asked if there were any areas of concern or needed clarification. I was given no feedback. So I waited a few more weeks and finally received a generic HR form letter telling me that they had passed. I followed up with the HR Director by telling her that I understand but would sincerely appreciate any feedback that could make me a stronger candidate in the future. She would give me no feedback.
In the end, I found Comcast to act uncordially and unprofessionally, almost as if it were the first time these people had ever hired someone. It soured me on the company and I doubt that I would ever apply there again even though the headquarters is about a mile from my house.
Several virtual interviews with the hiring team. The HR contact was really helpful and responsive. The teams themselves were very easy to talk to and mostly asked behavioral questions. I had one interview with two interviewers so that they didn’t have to schedule separate interviews. Ultimately, a really good experience.

Straight forward normal process. First, start with an internal recruiter, if selected move on to hiring manager and other(s) in person. Then if you are successful with in person interview you can continue on for a second round interview.

Initial phone screen was good. Hr rep was friendly and polite. Was offered to come in for a formal interview. Met with hiring manager and everything went good. Received a call next day from the Hr rep and said they are moving on. I answered a question of where you see yourself in 5 yeasts with I would like to be in management or at the division level. The hiring manager stated to the hr rep she did not want someone using this position as a stripping stone. Obviously they do not believe in internally promoting their employees. I have tried to get in touch with the hr rep since then to discuss other positions with no response, not professional at all. Completely different attitude towards me from the initial phone screen.
