Entrevista
I had one of the most unprofessional experiences during my interview today with a manufacturing company. This company had a recruiter reach out to me and call me on the 8th of April, the exact quote was "Your NCO and operations experience fits well with this position. After spending a couple of days in the Factory (with no manufacturing experience), the majority of the challenges are leadership and process oriented." Thats same day I had a phone conversation with this individual. He again stated just focus on the leadership and process and don't worry about the manufacturing part to start out. At his urging I applied for the job and sent my resume. I was the called this week on the 15th for an interview in person. I met Dave the owner/General Manager. About 20 minutes into the interview I started getting bombarded with manufacturing questions that they knew from my resume I did not have experience in(I would have been cool with a call saying I wasn't a fit.). When I couldn't relate my military experience with a computer program they use for production, Dave stated he was ending the interview and I was not a fit. He even said. I may be coming off as rude, but this won't work. I agreed and I initiated the hand shake with hesitation from him and wished them good luck in their search. I didn't get a thanks, just a good bye.
