Currently work for company, 8 years of service & numerous accolades & proven leadership. 28 days from application to interview. Was supposed to interview with a panel, but only one Program Manager showed up who had only been working for the company for about 6 months. Interrupted by phone calls & staff at the door with questions. Felt like the interview was a formality rather than a serious interview because the questions didn't seem to have any substance. Didn't receive an offer. When I asked how I can work toward promotion, I was told it's difficult to move from a position of being a peer to supervising those same peers.
