      Candidatura

      Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 6 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa CompassMSP.

      Entrevista

      I was told that it would be a quick interview process and that they wanted someone to be working within 3 weeks. I had the recruiter interview, then 2 other interviews within 3 days of each other, and things seemed to be going good. I was then told that they were going to be doing more interviews, and that they may last a week longer. 2 weeks after my final interview, I was told that they had not interviewed anyone else and they were going to start interviewing more people. Fast forward another month, so a month and a half in total from my final interview, and they have finally made a decision for another candidate. I had to reach out every single week to see if there was any progress, and was told that I was still a contender each time, but the recruiter was not helpful at all. If expectations were correctly set in the beginning, this would not have been so frustrating but the lack of professionalism and the never ending email thread of waiting to hear anything was a terrible experience.

      CompassMSP recruiters and hiring managers pride themselves in providing a positive candidate experience. We did provide weekly updates and unfortunately due to the holiday season, there were some delays in getting all interviews closed out as quickly as we did like. Even when a position is urgent, we have to allow for a consistent interview process and ensure we clearly evaluate the complete candidate pool. We were very transparent that we needed to give the candidate pool a fair chance and the ability to complete the interview process before arriving at a final decision.
