There were several rounds of interviews, including behavioral and a technical case. Not much instruction on navigating the case so be as thorough as possible. I did not make it past technical round.

Got through 3 rounds, was told there would be 5 total. 1st was screening with HR, 2nd was behavioral with 2 consultants. Then I received an Excel assessment with little instruction, but they said that they don't expect previous experience with compensation consulting so I went with it. Then the third interview was to go over that Excel assessment. They only use Excel for everything which is a little weird to me. I think I was rejected because I didn't use VLOOKUP on a dataset that was only 20 rows long.

Entrevista
Entirely too many rounds for an entirely remote company and an entry-level position. First was screening with HR/recruiter. Second was behavioral questions with actual consultants. Then I received an excel assessment I was expected to complete in less than a week (on top of my schoolwork and jobs) with little to no instructions. Then the third (fourth if you're counting the assessment itself as a step) was discussing the excel assessment, where they tell you you don't need prior experience but degrade your work for not having any prior experience in comp consulting. Only using excel for visualizations is outdated (I literally told them I know Tableau) - do better!
