O processo levou 3 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Congressional Black Caucus Foundation (Silver Spring, MD).
Entrevista
I had a video chat interview with the HR manager and the Director of the department. Then I was called in for a second interview with the VP. This organization seems very unorganized because I went to my second interview, I was told that my interviewer was “sick” and can we reschedule? I was a little annoyed because I took the time and money to get there. Anyway, I finally had my second interview and I felt like I did a fantastic job and I even offered suggestions on what they could do to improve their development department.
So Over the past few months I had sent several thank you emails with no follow ups. Then one day three months later, I received a phone call from HR asking if I was interested in the job. Not only did they get my hopes up, but they assured me that they will follow up with me by the end of the week. I never heard from them. That same week they posted the job back on the website.
I just find it very inappropriate and disappointing that they couldn’t give me the courtesy to say “No, we don’t want to move forward with you”. They knew I was hungry for the position and very eager and they let me down tremendously. This is a respected organization and that was literally a slap in the face, especially since I came out my way for them to reschedule my in person interview.
Anyway, overall I think this was a blessing in disguise because I could really tell how disorganized they were .

The process was very annoying and unorganized. I came all the way to the interview for them to forget. I had to leave and go back home in the rain. When we finally rescheduled, they were late and then I was called in for a second interview. I know for a fact I did extremely well in my interview and they reassured me they would reach out for a decision. Two months later they called me to ask me if I was still interested in the position and I said yes and THEY never followed up with an offer or anything. I was excited to interview with them because they have a lot of connections to the black community, but the disorganization of this foundation was extremely disheartening.
