I completed an initial recruiter screen followed by an interview with the direct hiring manager. Both conversations seemed to go well, and we discussed my background along with an overview of the role. After that, there was close to three weeks of silence. When I followed up via email, I received a call back informing me that I had been selected to move forward with a panel interview. I completed the panel interview and again did not receive any response for another three weeks. Unfortunately, the process had very little communication or direction regarding status updates. At the very least, I would have expected a rejection email after my most recent outreach. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I wish there had been clearer communication throughout the nearly two months I spent in the interview process.
