I recently went through the interview process with Consulum, and it was one of the most unprofessional and frustrating experiences I’ve encountered. From the start, it was clear that the process was designed to drag on for far longer than necessary. I had to endure multiple rounds of interviews with different people who seemed to have little communication between them, as I was asked the same basic questions over and over again. There was a distinct lack of focus or structure, with interviewers often coming across as ill-prepared and, frankly, ignorant of the role they were hiring for. At times, it felt like they were making things up as they went along. Instead of delving into relevant skills or experience, I was bombarded with questions that were either irrelevant or incredibly basic—more like something you’d expect from an amateur startup than a supposedly reputable company. The entire experience felt like a waste of time, with no clear direction or professionalism. I left the process feeling like they had no idea what they were looking for, and frankly, no real understanding of how to evaluate talent properly. If this is how they handle their recruitment, I can only imagine what the actual working environment is like.
