The interview process began with several automated emails which invited you to schedule a typical phone screen. The interviewer was polite, but had obviously not taken the time to prepare by reviewing the application materials or previous work examples. The majority of the questions were easily answered by reading the candidate's resume which resulted in the interview descending into a resume "show and tell." Additionally, the interviewer was unfamiliar with industry terms and was overly reliant on the candidate using keywords from the job description in their verbal responses to determine if they possessed the correct skills or experience.
