Entrevista
First interview was with the director of engineering and an engineer on the team. The team manager was supposed to be present, but was sick, and the director took his place.
The second, which I was told was the final, was a panel interview with 3 members of the team and the manager. Both interviews went well, and never got too technical in nature, which I thought was strange.
A week later, I was contacted by the recruiter to setup an additional 30 minute interview with the same manager, with a theme of "culture fit". I found this very odd, but obviously agreed. That interview ended up being rescheduled to a week later, as the manager was sick again... The day before the reschedule date, I was contact by the recruiter, who said they were moving forward with another candidate, and that this interview should have never been scheduled...what???
This process seems very confused and disorganized, as others have mentioned. I can't help but feel like I dodged a bullet by not receiving an offer...

There were some basic technical questions, but a lot more of the interview was based around what type of work culture I'm looking for/situational processes within an engineer role.
Really disorganized, people forgetting what they told me the day before, unresponsive most of the time, ghosted in the end.
They did provide a pretty cool code challenge, it essentially lacked any direction which is what I found so cool about it. I was able to do whatever I felt would show off my skills the best. Unfortunately after receiving glowing praise in every communication the company just sort of stopped responding for quite some time. Then they picked back up where they left off... But forgot every single thing we had already gone over about me, my professional skills/career until now etc.
In the end I didn't feel valued as a candidate.. To take it a step further I felt a little disrespected as if my time was not valued at all through the interview process.
I think this is a great company with some growing pains. The interview process turned me off, but not the staff or the company culture, vision, etc. I would interview again after a few years and hope they are a bit more established in these areas. If you can jump through the hoops there are probably some really great opportunities here.
