Entrevista
Process was very professional, organized, and down to Earth. You will be interviewing with extremely smart and talented people.
1. Initial call with recruiter to discuss the role, the company, and see if there is mutual interest.
2. Technical Phone Screen - Questions focused on Serverless architecture, development methodologies, deployment strategies, API design, coding standards, etc.
3. Take Home Technical Assignment - Was asked to design and implement a serverless architecture/solution to perform some type of mathematical calculation via both an on-demand and deferred response model.
4. On-site Interview - 5 rounds
a. Director of Engineering - technical questions
b. Director of Product - team oriented questions
c. Director of HR - culture fit, salary, etc
d. VP Engineering - career goals, career passion
e. CIO - business technical conversation
The day after the onsite I was asked for references. The day after I received an official offer.
Note: A successful drug screen and background check is required for employment.
All in all - Convene is looking for top talent with individuals who can share our vision for the next generation product we are building. Convene isn’t interested in individuals who simply pass the technical checklist - they want A team players who are passionate about our business goals and who will ultimately help drive the company towards success.
