Interview with HR.
They asked me if I have experience with GetStream or chat messaging systems.
Indeed, I actually had a project where we had to choose between Sendbird and GetStream and decided on Sendbird for that specific use case, implementing it from the ground up.
Yet, I've carefully looked at GetStream and its features, even though I don't have any hands-on experience with it, it's very similar to Sendbird.
I was rejected for the reason that I don't have experience with GetStream specifically.
In my opinion, for a Senior Engineer, this should not be a problem, as they can easily adapt to different requirements.
For me, this seemed more of an excuse rather than a valid reason.
They don't mention anywhere on their job descriptions that GetStream is a requirement and they aren't accepting any applicants without GetStream experience, so for me, it was just a waste of time.

Entrevista
1. HR call 2. First technical interview (online) 3. Second system design style interview 4. Interview with CEO 5. Again interview with CEO and engineer from 3rd interview. Overall, good experience, except interviews with CEO, where he asked not related questions and tried to look like he knows what he is talking about. After 4th interview I thought it is over, but not, they kept adding more and more onsite interviews. Disappointing experience.
