Entrevista para Director of Customer Services

      Candidatura

Candidatei-me de outra forma. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Coquitlam Public Library.

      Entrevista

I had a Skype interview and the process was a bit bizarre. The interview was conducted by the library director and two others, but the director asked all the questions and did a considerable amount of talking. The Skype camera on their end was positioned strangely and it made the panelists appear sitting at the end of a long chamber with the Director in the centre and his minions at his side. It also appeared as thought he was sitting in a raised position as thought he were a judge or magistrate. As mentioned he did most of the talking and I had little opportunity to answere any questions. What was disappointing was that some weeks after the interview I received an email stating the hiring process was unexpectedly delayed. Doing some quick research I found out the union had filed a grievance regarding the creation of the position that I interviewed for and the library board and city council backed the union. I never received a follow up email regarding the position and I assume it was hastily forgotten about by the powers that be at CPL. The way things were handled made me feel that CPL is unprofessional and disorganized. The other odd thing about CPL is that you have to mail in your resume.
