I recently interviewed for a BDR role and found the overall process to be fairly straightforward. The position itself seemed interesting and aligned with my background. During the interview, the interaction felt less engaging than expected. The conversation between me and the interviewer felt more transactional and I did feel as though they were being disrespectful at times. As a candidate, this made it a bit challenging and uncomfortable to build rapport and fully gauge team dynamics. I appreciate the opportunity to interview and learn more about the role, and I would encourage continued focus on creating a more engaging and welcoming interview experience for candidates. Overall, a mixed but informative experience.
