This interview experience was with the Dundas, Ontario, Canad location of Coreslab Precast.
I had a video interview with the Business Developer which went great. We spoke about my educational qualifications, precast experience and I was told they would provide training for this position as it is a "niche" field. I was told that I have a great precast experience and that Coreslab Precast has only so many products and limited projects per year and was asked if I would still be interested. I was then asked about the compensation desired and was forced to give a number however, he would not.
Couple days later I was called in for an in person interview. I had to take a small test which went okay. During the in person interview I was complimented on my precast experience and was again told about the limited precast elements and projects, was asked if I would relocate, etc. It was going great so far until at one point I stuttered (3-4 seconds) because of my speech problem. I quickly got myself together and carried on and the rest of the interview went well. Shortly after they had to leave and I was told that I could leave after the test and I would be notified about the results. At this point I knew that I did not get the job. The next business day I get a message on indeed, "We are going in a different direction."
