It involved the interviewer describing a case, and asking what one should look at. the interviewer gave helpful hints. the case was usually a litigation case. for e.g. company A acquired company B, but withheld some important piece of information. after a few months, the information came out, and company A stock was hammered. shareholders of company B then sued. how should we compute damages?

I was invited for the first round of the selection process. This involved two one-on-one interviews, each 45 minutes long. There were two types of questions. One about my research and the other was a case study. In both, successive questions built up on previous questions.

There was first a chat with the interviewers with getting to know you questions, and then a case study based on real cases- you need to know your antitrust, merger and industrial organization knowledge.

Entrevista
Phone interview (2 different interviewers), followed by full day interview in person (3-4 different interviewers). Each interview involves behavioural/motivation questions as well as a case study, usually involving antitrust issues. Questions will be around your understanding of the situation as well as of some econometric analysis regarding the case. People in the office were very nice and hospitable.
