I applied in January 2024, I got a response in February in VERY poor English. They requested I interview on a Saturday, I declined offering a few days the following week. They sent me another Indeed message in VERY poor English again. I received an interview invite asking me to call a number. The invite also said that they would call me. They never called me. I bailed. Stay Far away from this company!

I have applied at Corporate iShares Mutual twice now. The first time they told me in an email that they "are only hiring the best of the best of 15-25 Candidates for this Information Technology position. This position requires extensive background screening." This was somewhat off-putting so I declined to follow up with an interview. This second time, they sent me a message telling me "The system automatically decline applications periodically . The algorithms makes the decisions to deny Candidates .This only happens when candidates dont score enough qualifying points for the applying position," and telling me they manually approved my application in the system and to provide them interview times. While the grammar was not great (which is somewhat of a screener for me personally) I provided interview times back to them. I then received a message back, "It appears you applied for a position in our Company 3 months and never responded. We have very limited time to schedule interviews with Candidates that no serious." The brusque and somewhat passive-aggressive nature of the communications leads me to question how my experience would be working at the company if I did make it all the way through their interview/hiring process. I also wonder how the communications can be so riddled with grammatical errors and they still seem to think they are going to attract, "the best of the best." I felt this should be called out and let people know what the experience is likely to me like for others looking to apply here.
