My experience working at Cosmo was extremely disappointing and fell far below the professional standards I have come to expect after 26 years in residential moulding and advanced composite aerospace environments. Before accepting the role, I was assured by ownership and senior leadership that there would be opportunities for executive-level growth. Unfortunately, those commitments were not honored, and the workplace culture did not align with what had been represented to me. On my 89th day of employment, I was informed that I was “not a fit,” without any meaningful explanation or documentation. Despite requesting clarification in writing, I received no response. This lack of transparency and professional communication was concerning and inconsistent with healthy leadership practices. During my time there, I observed patterns of inconsistent expectations, unclear decision-making, questionable managerial conduct, and operational issues involving safety, process control, and equipment reliability. These concerns raised significant red flags regarding both workplace culture and operational integrity. Ultimately, the environment was not aligned with my values or with the professional standards I have upheld throughout my career. My goal in sharing this is to provide an honest account of my experience and to caution others to seek full clarity before making a similar career decision.

The interview was unstructured and unprofessional. The CEO didn’t introduce himself or the company, nor clarify the role I applied for. I interviewed for a different role than I applied to, which caused confusion. Overall, the experience lacked transparency and basic interview etiquette.
