The process was pretty easy —first, the application, then an interview if you are selected, and then you conduct the initial job training. During the interview, you will typically talk to your department manager. For example, after talking to the hiring team, I then had to speak with the manager of the department I was going to work in.

First a phone screening, just to get to know your availability and about the job. Then you schedule an in person interview. You first interview with two managers of different departments, and then you interview with the head manager. If you pass, you take the drug test and background check,

its hard to get an interview, You can either go up there or apply online and it seems like they rarely get back with you. your application is in limbo.

Panel interview, I think they place priority on potential hires based on work culture and whether you will fit the company culture since training can be taught on-job. There is not much scope on which area of merchandising you may be allocated ie. frozen foods, snacks, alcohol etc, so not much choice. It is fast-paced, demanding and requires physical labour.
