      Candidatura

      Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Couchbase (Bengaluru) em jul. de 2019

      Entrevista

      - In the 1st email from from HR it was mentioned that there will be 4 rounds and all will be coding rounds. - They took 2 Skype rounds, so as per my understanding 2 technical rounds would be taken F2F - They called me onsite and interviews started, After 2 F2F rounds I asked the same HR what is the further procedure. She said there will be more technical rounds. - They took 3 more Technical rounds, so in total 2 Skype rounds and 5 F2F rounds - After that I was asked to leave for the day. - I was hoping for positive response. - I got a call from same HR after 3-4 days, she started the conversation very nicely asking my current ctc and expected ctc and notice period. I felt excited and thought the response is positive. - Now the real game begins, game of words... HR(who thinks she is very professional just because she has a degree from outside of India) said that my candidature is good but currently they cannot pay me my current ctc as well. - I was shocked to hear that because I had shared my expected and current ctc before the process started. - She was trying to manipulated the talks so much that i felt irritated. - Instead of saying in easy words that that `my candidature does not fit their requirements and hence they will not be able to offer me currently`, she was again and again saying that they have parity levels, my candidature is good and they are not rejecting me but i don't fit there, etc etc.. - At last i said ok and ignored whatever she said. - It was really disappointing that the feedback was shared in such a manner. It would be much easier for a candidate to accept rejection than just going round and round and then conveying the same thing by game of words.
