The worst interview process I've ever gone through - period. Manager reached out to discuss the position, I responded. We talked a week later and set up an in person 'code-day' interview. The manager then tells me that its not actually a code-day, but rather a presentation on my solution to a problem. They gave me a problem to work on for 24 hours with almost no background information about the subject at hand (some internal technical stuff at CMM). Worked on it and then got a call 2 hours before my interview saying that they wanted to reschedule to the next day. I also asked if I needed to bring my computer in for the presentation and got a response 1 hour before my interview, 24 hours after asking. Response time was constantly more than 1-2 days. I went in to present to a room of 4 people where nobody introduced themselves and made no eye-contact with me. They just told me to start, but I ended up breaking the ice and asked them about themselves a little bit before I started. Throughout my whole presentation all the interviewers were cold and weren't on the same page. One of the interviewers wasn't even sure how much background info I had been given when preparing my solutions and the main interviewer replied 'almost none'. They asked me questions about my analyses throughout and then I got to ask them questions at the end. I got dropped off at the lobby and the interviewer rushed away without a handshake or anything. I felt used and frustrated, I would rather have not been interviewed at all. I followed up twice before I got a response and then finally they told me that they proceeded with other candidates. I'm utterly surprised that CMM gloats about being a 'Top 50 Place to Work', they really didn't show it.
