I was called to be interviewed at Crate & Barrel a week after sending my resume and cover letter. The interview was directly on the sale floor at their location by a manager. I was asked before the interview to complete a Crate & Barrel hiring form and then I was told to look at their catalog or around the store to choose something I would like to sell. During the interview the manager asked me to talk about my working history and then went through a series of questions regarding customer services, sales techniques and my motivation for working for Crate & Barrel. The manager concluded the interview by reviewing the compensation as well as the position requirement and the days I would be willing to work.
