I experienced a complete disregard for the candidate's time and effort when I interviewed with Credit Genie. They had insisted I travel to PA from NYC to meet the team for the onsite interview. After taking the day off and traveling 2 hours to PA, the recruiter wasn't even in the office to greet me (which was shown in the interview schedule). Turns out half the team wasn't even in the office because they didn't communicate amongst themselves. So I ended up traveling to PA to have half my interviewers call in. The CEO then asks to meet with me ad hoc and spends an hour talking about himself and his company and then starts asking me a bunch of questions about my previous company which was a competitor. It felt weird to me but unfortunately I did not say anything at the time. I then follow up a week after for an update and never got one. I followed up again 2 weeks after and still never got one. In addition, I had to send multiple follow ups to get reimbursed for my trip to PA and finally ended up getting reimbursed a month after. Never got a response back on my interview though after I traveled to PA from NYC for a 5 hour onsite. The most inconsiderate, disingenuous company I've ever interviewed with. Please don't waste your time here.
