My experience with the interview process at Crossover was a mixed bag. Initially, I successfully completed all assessments and take-home assignments, and my interactions with the interviewer were positive. The onboarding process and signing of agreements proceeded smoothly. However, the final stage involved a proctored version of the CCAT, which I found significantly more challenging than the original test. This added stress was compounded by being monitored by two cameras. Despite being given two attempts, I was unable to pass this stage. In hindsight, I believe that incorporating the proctored test earlier in the process, perhaps before the face-to-face interview, would have been more considerate of candidates' time and mental well-being. As it stands, the entire interview process felt like a waste of time, and I question the value of investing so much effort into it. Overall, while the initial stages of the process were positive, the inclusion of the proctored test at the end left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. For future candidates, I would advise carefully considering whether the investment of time and effort in this interview process is worthwhile.
