I got reached out by a recruiter for this role and had a 30 min conversation with them about the role, client I would work on, and walking through my background. I passed the screening and moved onto the hiring manager, but this interview was where I felt that this wasn't the role for me. A number of the questions the HM were asking did not have to do with the role and also at times she wouldn't be satisfied with answers and also appeared annoyed when making corrections to her. The major red flag I did get was when we were on our call, she kept getting pinged by executives which showed me that work life balance isn't really valued.
In the end, I ended up being ghosted as I never got an email back from them, but for the best since they really don't value w/l balance.

Couple of rounds of interviews and met the finance director and head of finance. Couple of tricky questions asked but it’s good to see the environment where they work. It’s a lovely office and good vibe.

Entrevista
- The process was clear and well-structured, consisting of three stages: an initial screening with the recruiter, a task interview with the hiring managers, and a final in-person interview at the office.
- The overall timeline was around two weeks from the first screening to the final interview, which felt streamlined and efficient.
- Having the task in the first interview with the hiring managers was unusual but actually helped move the process along quickly and provided focus from the start.
- Visiting the office for the final stage was a great opportunity to see the environment and meet the team in person, which gave me a strong sense of the company culture.
- Charlotte, the recruiter, was excellent throughout, always quick to respond, clear in her communication, and proactive in following up with any questions I had.
- I really enjoyed meeting Lindsay and Callum, the hiring managers, who came across as highly knowledgeable, approachable, and very experienced in their fields.
- The task was well designed, relevant to the role, and clearly thought through, which made the process feel purposeful.
- The only challenge was the wait after the final interview, which took around two and a half weeks for feedback. However, I received regular updates during this time which showed consideration for candidates and kept me informed.
