Inexplicably long and chaotic. The hiring manager was gone almost the entire time so that had a lot to do with it, I'm sure.
Scheduling interview times was sometimes extraordinarily difficult and one had to be scheduled three weeks out, then ended up missing one interviewer regardless. Another interviewer said "I have no idea what the process is, you should ask the recruiter what happens next." Questions were canned, very little fluid conversation, except for the hiring manager.
I had one phone screen, one 1:1 interview with the hiring manager, two 2:1 interviews with peers on the same team, and was in the process of scheduling two more group interviews with folks I would have been managing when they let me know they had made an offer to someone else.

Through a recruiter. Recruiter will screen you through an initial call to chat on finding our your profile and so on. Explaining the job details to you. Exchange information about your experience if it aligns- then next to hiring manager. Hiring manager will interview you based on your experience and scenario to see if it matches what they are looking for. No news after the hiring manager interview, no one gives an update .. went into black hole eventually ~
