Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Crowdform em mar. de 2024

Don't waste your time applying. After submitting my application on LinkedIn, a hiring manager reached out to me to complete a pretty time-consuming, three-step design challenge before any interview stage. They asked me to create a video, design a series of LinkedIn posts and write a social media copy for their clients, which, overall, took me 5 hours to complete. Then, it took them over 2 weeks to follow up with the status of my application, which apparently wasn't successful.
There's no need to set tasks for content/design candidates when they can share their portfolios with you instead. Expecting someone to spend time on home assignments and give away their creative ideas even before the interview stage is an exploitative hiring process. It seems like a strange practice, if not a convenient way of asking for free work. I regret being naive enough to have spent my free time on these time-consuming assignments.

There wasn't an interview. I was messaged on LinkedIn to complete a home assignment before any interview stage:
"Create compelling social media content that showcases your design speed, skills, and marketing acumen. Your task is to interpret the brief quickly and create visually appealing content that will capture the audience's attention"
