Had a call with a hiring manager and then a phone screen. The question in the phone screen was so painfully simple, and I finished it in a short amount of time including tests. We spent the rest of the interview talking about my experience, and ended with time to spare. Not sure what about the phone screen resulted in an instant rejection, but I got rejected within the hour. Negative experience not cause of the interview itself, but just cause ...what?
