I applied online with no response until about two months later I was reached out of the blue by a recruiter. The recruiter called me for a phone screen and I was quickly moved on to an online technical screen via hacker rank. For the technical screen: the instructions I was given via email conflicted with the instructions on the platform. I was promptly rejected for not using the suggested codepen resources (in no way were they indicated to be mandatory) which was a puzzling response to both myself and the recruiter.
