Interviewed by 2 people on the interactive marketing team. They did not seem very experienced in terms of giving interviews; they mainly talked about their own company and kind of made jokes about it, and seemed to stumble on what to ask next or where to go with the interview lots of "ummm"'s and "sooooo..."s. They mentioned they had tried a myspace page to sell product and it totally failed. It was very dry, boring cubicle hell type environment. I think it's interesting that there is large enough of a market for people that wanted custom checks that it could sustain a large company like this, but I think you have to be passionate about whatever product you market, even for online marketing. Unfortunately, I have never ordered custom checks in my life and will never do so. This was probably apparent to them in the interview. I was not surprised when I did not hear back and I did not follow up with them. Don't let me sway you though - it seemed like they had a sophisticated operation, big PPC budgets (I forget the figure but when they mentioned what they spent per month on PPC it was pretty impressive).
