Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Cyclops Gear (Fort Collins, CO) em nov. de 2016
Entrevista
I sent my interest via e-mail and the owner called me to say I looked like a promising candidate and we planned a time to meet up for an interview. He seemed busy, but patient and interested. I met up at his small office / warehouse. He asked me if I could use After Effects and Premiere and explained what his company was all about and what he needed. He seemed short and impatient this time. He wanted to make sure I could do the main task he needed in AE and said he would send me the files through Dropbox (I didn't realize you had to pay to receive another person's files) and didn't have extra money, so I asked about another way; like me driving all the way back with a flashdrive or using Google drive, or the like. He wouldn't respond.
I worried about it all weekend and eventually asked my parent to pay just long enough for me to get the files. Then after me trying to communicate on an average basis, finally, he just told me they hired someone else right after interviewing me. It was kind of discouraging and frustrating. My time and effort didn't seem to matter. I know I probably seemed a bit unprepared(?) not having a flashdrive (I should have asked if I needed anything before hand since he didn't let me know). I wish he could have at least tried to understand and work with me or decline that day if my request was too much. Probably the most disheartening interview thus far (because I was confused at parts). I work hard and am fully educated, capable, and willing to do what he needed. I tried again for similar position but was declined right away.
There was a positive part too... his decline was short, but written kindly, and he said he would consider me in the future (which I have a hard time believing, but maybe). The other 4 people working there seemed happy too, so I guess it might be fine if you don't catch him on a bad week.
