I interviewed with Cyclotron from March to April 2026. The process took four rounds.
Rounds 1 and 2 were straightforward. Round 1 was a FIT interview with the hiring manager. Round 2 was the technical interview, scheduled for 45 minutes but wrapped in about 20. It was a Friday and the interviewer clearly didn’t have many questions prepared.
Round 3 is where things went off track. I was told it was the final interview with their Director of AI. He asked an out of left field question that felt a little disconnected from the role. The next day, I received a verbal offer that had nothing to do with the position I applied for. Instead of the full time salaried role I interviewed for, they offered a three month contract to hire at a different level. It felt like a bait and switch.
When I declined to continue, both the hiring manager and her manager contacted me again, pressuring me to take a fourth interview so they could “find a full time spot” somewhere else. I agreed, and that was a mistake.
Round 4 was with another director who didn’t seem to know why I was there. There was no role description, no context, no plan for the conversation. It was a complete waste of time. After that, they sent the standard “moving forward with candidates who better fit our needs” message, which was ironic given they never defined the role in the first place.
The entire process felt disorganized from the top down. I spent over a month in interviews, declined another offer to stay engaged with Cyclotron, and walked away feeling like I’d been dragged through a circus for no reason.
My suggestion to the hiring team: respect candidate time, stop pressuring people into extra rounds, and don’t present surprise offers that were never discussed. I had multiple offers and accepted one with far more clarity and honesty. The only upside here was seeing the red flags before joining.
I won’t be recommending Cyclotron to anyone I work with.

Overall fairly straight forward and simple, just the initial recruitment call, lasted about 30 to 45 minutes, she asked me questions and I had the chance to ask her a few.

Entrevista
Interview #1: The first interview was intended to be a brief 20-minute video screen and the interviewer did not show up. The interviewer later emailed and apologized, requesting a new date and time to meet. Interview #2: The interviewer showed up a few minutes late to the meeting, was shuffling papers and seemed flustered/disorganized. The interviewer was not only unprepared for the meeting but seemed totally disinterested in being there and overwhelmed. It was so uncomfortable. It did not take long to understand that working in this unprofessional and disharmonious environment would not be suitable. If these two experiences reflect the company's organizational processes as well as their culture, this is a major red flag.
