That lack of consideration for punctuality immediately set an unprofessional tone. Things didn't improve when it came to discussing my pay expectations. Despite the application explicitly addressing this question, it was completely disregarded during the interview. Instead, I was given an offer that was shockingly half of what I had initially stated in my application. It felt like the effort put into detailing my expectations was simply ignored, making the whole process seem superficial and disrespectful of my time and input. What made matters worse was the realization that the pay offer was significantly lower than what one might earn working as a teller in a store. This stark difference between the offer and market standards added insult to injury, making the position seem unreasonably undervalued. Overall, the interview experience left a bitter taste. The tardiness, dismissal of my application details, and the unreasonably low offer painted a picture of a company that might not value its employees appropriately. It's crucial for companies to respect applicants' time, consider their stated expectations, and offer compensation that aligns with industry standards, all of which seemed lacking in this particular interview process.
