I went through Cytiva’s full interview process for a Senior Lead Business Intelligence role — HR, technical, two BI directors, and a Global BI Lead. After passing all rounds, HR told me they wanted to offer me the position, pending a legal review of my work eligibility in Poland.
I immediately provided all requested documents, yet for the next 1.5 months I was strung along with excuses that their lawyers were “still reviewing” my case. From my own immigration lawyer’s perspective, the process was simple and straightforward, but Cytiva continuously delayed and failed to provide clear answers. At one point, they even indicated that if things took too long, they might move forward with another candidate — after already telling me I had the offer. That was the first red flag.
The final straw was when they asked for a call to “provide more details,” but when I followed up after a brief delay due to illness, they completely disappeared. No call. No rejection. Not even a generic update. Just silence.
For a global company, this behavior is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Candidates invest significant time and energy into these processes, and leaving someone hanging without closure after months of interviews shows a lack of respect. It is also misleading to extend a verbal offer and then vanish without any communication.
If you’re considering applying here, be prepared for a drawn-out, disorganized, and discourteous process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cytiva as a professional or respectful employer.
