The girl who did a phone interview with me did most of the talking. Eventually she told me that this interview would be for a “fundraiser” position where you would work mainly outside. Here in Houston that’s okay until around March/ April and then after that it will be extremely hot outside for anyone! I usually don’t ask in a phone interview but I was curious what the starting pay was. She dodged the question by saying she’d rather have the guys tell me when I go in, in person. Okay... not a good sign. So I called their assistant and asked what starting pay is; $300/ week @ 45 hours or whatever their commission is. Just remember that these interviews are for you just as much as they are for the employer. Needless to say, I declined.
