I applied online and was contacted a few days after with a request to come into the New York office for an interview. At the office, I signed an NDA and was taken to a conference room where I was told I would meet with various interviewers. I was separately interviewed by two employees who asked me similar questions about why I was interested in the job, my previous work experience, how I managed workplace obstacles, etc. After these interviews, I was given two emails to copy edit. Neither of the interviews went badly, but they didn't go great, and after the copy test, the recruiter who was coordinating the interview said he was checking to see if anybody else was available to interview, because it was campus season -- clearly an excuse while they deliberated over whether or not to proceed. After around 15 minutes, he came back and said that was it for the day and walked me out. The next week, I got an email saying they were moving forward with another candidate.
