Had a phone interview with a recruiter. At the end of the call, the recruiter mentioned that they had already had discussions on my background with the hiring managers for the role, that they wanted to speak soon, and to try and keep my following week open as they would be in touch soon with next interview steps for an in-person interview. That week came and went. I followed up with an email and voicemail over the next month, but never heard back. Just really unprofessional.
