The interview process was drawn out over a 10 day period with multiple interviews with corporate and regional management. The interview with the DM only happend at the end of the process. Just tell them what they want to hear. They want to hear that you are going to manage like you are sargent in the military and then they will hire you.

Make sure you know about reports and how to run your business. Very high level information and have to be prepared to answer difficult questions. You need to have a lot of examples of how you have made impactful change.
