Was scheduled for a 30 minute interview with two members of the development team, the interviewer who was going to be asking the questions shows up five minutes late, not the end of the world right. Except he could not be bothered to prepare the questions ahead of time, instead he’s Googling them and writing things out during the 30-minutes we had scheduled… Cannot imagine the degree of arrogance required to pull something like this. If he knew he was not going to have time or just didn’t feel it was important enough to prepare for, then communicate this with the other team member in the interview, so they could’ve prepared ahead of time. Shortly after the interview, I was emailed a coding challenge with not so clearly written requirements. This whole thing was just a waste of everyone’s time…
